Monaco has extended its contract to host the Formula One Grand Prix until 2031, continuing a tradition that began in 1955, with the exception of the 2020 season due to COVID-19. Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali expressed delight at the continuation of this iconic race, which will now take place in early June starting in 2026. Despite its fame, the narrow street circuit offers limited overtaking opportunities, making it less exciting for fans. The 2025 race will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Monaco's official F1 debut.
